About Calgary

Calgary is a city in the province of Alberta, Canada.  Calgary is located in southern Alberta on the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountain foothills at the confluence of the Bow and Elbow Rivers.  With a population 1,000,000 (1 Million), Calgary is the sixth largest city in Canada.  Calgary's economy is largely centered on the petroleum industry, with agriculture, tourism, and the high-tech industries contributing to the city's rapid economic growth.
